It is not to discourage the people, who celebrate festivals. Diwali is a festival of light, fire and a lot of enjoyment. On the other side, are we thinking the amount of smoke generated in the atmosphere, paper wasted and the money spend on the festivals. It is high time to think and act. It is not to protest against it or stand out of it; it is to say that we are the next generation. We may utilize the same paper which is burned and money spends on festivals for a good cause.
