Most of last month, the priority was our upcoming 6th Anniversary. The volunteers worked hard and spent ample amount of thought, time and energy to putting up a good show (like they say, citation required :) ). But we made sure none of our regular work suffers because of the Anniversary preparation. what was keeping us occupied?

Rakta Kranti Companies Continuing the battle against blood shortage, the following blood donation drives were organized in the previous month: Capgemini Indigo, Keane software, AMD, and Infosys BPO. A total of 548 units were collected in these drives.
Capgemini Indigo and Infosys were the first BPOs where Sankalp organized a blood donation drive. And, today we still have great bonds with them and organize drives at regular intervals. Exactly after 4 months AMD has organized another drive marking it as the first company to do so. Closely following at its heals is Keane which organized its second drive in six months.
Disha Disha Karnataka is expanding strongly. 3 new blood banks outside Bangalore have started to update the stocks regularly to the helpline, namely one from Belgaum, SDM in Dharwad, Red Cross in Davangere.
Internal issues are being sorted out. Problems with the RCEs and call centre were sorted out. Call centre is more reliable now. Problems with certain blood banks not giving stocks also were sorted out. As WBDD approaches, the 10 digit BSNL number will also be finalized to be a central point of contact.
