The month of August generally has a good stock in blood banks. Good number of blood donation drives are regularly organized on the occasion of Independence Day. However, there is still scope for doing more camps as all blood banks are not filled. Sankalp pitched in and organized 8 drives to tackle this shortage. A total of 293 units were collected in the month of August.

Through rational use of blood, technology, networking and most importantly, timely and judicious blood donations, the community has been actively managing the numerous blood requests which it is getting from all over the globe.
