CTC Disha continued spreading awareness about the helpline number in various government hospitals like NIMHANS, Sanjay Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Kidwai. The rest of the government hospitals including the government Maternity hospitals which were not targeted in the last awareness phase will be covered this year.
The stocks of various Blood banks associated with Disha were quite good in number and the call center also saw an increase in the number of calls received by the call center for blood request. An average of 13-15 calls was seen throughout the month. Apart from this, the participation of the new blood banks joining Disha from outside Bangalore was improved and also stabilized to a great extent.
