Gandhi-Father of nation???

Gandhi supported the NON VIOLENCE and still he didn't do anything to prevent the capital punishment given to bhagat singh, sukhdev and rajguru when he could and should have done it.. Also when the subhash chandra bose became the congress president of against the will of the so called mahatama of the nation.. he started behaving in a strange way... It was again Netaji who quit the post of congress president and later CONGRESS to prevent further disintegration of congress... Gandhi's main motto was to be in limemight ,to be called the author of story of INDIAN INDEPENDENCE which ultimately I see today he suceeded in doing so...these are facts and u cannot disregard them..again and again he proved it.. He did it by calling off NON CO OPERATION MOVEMENT.He did it by signing the pact during which he could have saved life of INDIAN REVOLUTIONARIES and he did it again with NETAJI...U still call this guy father of the nation..??

WHETHER U CALL GANDHIJI A HYPOCRITE OR THE FATHER OF OUR NATION, I SIMPLY BELIEVE IT IS NOT WORTH MENTIONING HIS NAME ALONGWITH SHAHEED UDHAM SINGHJI,BHAGAT SINGHJI,etc etc.., BECAUSE THEY GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF INDIANS WHO LIKEWISE DIDNOT DO SO. I WILL NOT FORGET.......................

I will say Gandhi was a Hypocrate. He was a man with several faces . it was because of him and his idiotic movements because of which today our India is divide into India and Pakistan . And because of him even after independence we are still facing problem today. What i feel is if independence was gained the way Bhagat Singh and his group member wanted ... India would have been a much better place to live today

Gandhi? I agree with what my friends have said. But my point is why to see only the negative side of a person when there are many positives also. Dont forget , it is because of Gandhi that Freedom struggle in India got momentum. Gandhi was one voice to which entire India used to respond. Since childhood i was told the motivating stories about Gandhi. and i feel those were worth telling to small kids still. May be he had personal interests behind what he did but still he motivated and inspired millons. He was at least better than those indians who did not contribute to the freedom struggle or those who just served britishers. Dont blame him for the present condition of India. It is WE who is actually responsible.

I don't know what to say..... But I'll tell a story... There was this woman who went to a beach and her son was washed away by the waves... She cried out for help. There was this Bay watcher who heard her and rescued the boy(her son). Then she hugged her son and suddenly she saw that one of his shoe was missing.... Then she was like "AIYO ONE OF HIS SHOE IS MISSING!" I think this is what is happening now.... He got me my independence.... I m so thankful to him... May be someone else would have done it a better way.... But He Did It For US... He Does Deserve RESPECT from HIS Country Men...
