Sankalp India Foundation has initiated a massive relief Operation Sparsh for the people suffering from the floods in North Karnataka. People have been rendered homeless and they are housed in relief camps.
Although several stories questioning if justice had been done to the victims of the worst industrial disaster in Bhopal on 3rd Dec 1984 keep coming up, it is unclear if people reporting these understand the real problems. Perhaps there is no accurate numbers on the magnitude of damage. Different sources quote different figures.
Assam hit by another flood. Situation looks bad according to a few news reports. Sankalp volunteers have started off with initial situation analysis to understand the damage caused.
