I agree with the point. We have user from all the part of the country why not let the interested people register them selves as donor. Interested people need not to register in a site.
Hard to manage quality of data
On one hand, having a site where one could fill up such details would be good. But on the other hand, it would be hard to manage the quality of data, since anyone can enter data and it does not get validated.
A better way to share such information would be to bring about an awareness drive in each of your organization and ask them to sign up with "Sankalp India Foundation", so that the SIF works in tandem with the organization and gets an updated list of data from a big group of people (e.g. through your HR dept)

That is precisely the reason why we do not have online registration of willing donors.
Currently, Sankalp is in the process of building up a new portal for donors alone. The design is such that it will take care of all these issues :)
