Promising job opportunity as the Medical Officer at a Thalassemia Day Care Centre which will be managing 400 children.
The responsibilities include:
- General examination and monitoring of chronically transfused individuals
- Overseeing blood transfusion
- Management of Iron overload/Chelation
- Management of complications associated with chronic transfusion
- Preparation of children eligible for BMT
- Involve in Scientific studies and publications related to low cast thalassemia management
- Be responsible for overseeing other staff and operations of the day care centre
- Involve in counselling of families and promotion of prevention programs
