A dream that began in late 2020 took wings on the 22nd of Sep 2021. The new BMJH-Sankalp Centre For Pediatric Hematology Oncology and BMT, Sankalp Labs was Inaugurated at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital, Bangalore.
The new centre has been made possible by the support of DKMS as the principal sponsor and Cure2Children as the Knowledge and Medical Partner. Beautiful rooms with stories from the Panchatantra for the children, spacious offices for the clinical team, efficiently designed lab spaces, a special pharmacy,, a training area for continuous learning, areas for counselling, conference room for regular meetings, dedicated OP clinical area have all been incorporated. The labs have been co sponsored by DKMS, Amit Iyer Memorial Foundation and Didwania Charitable Trust.
As the dignitaries cut the tapes at the entrances of the Transplant Area and the Labs, the people of Sankalp not only felt an immense sense of gratitude for the people who put their faith in us, but also were motivated to make this opportunity count. The journey to become the world's largest and best centre for Pediatric Hematology Oncology and BMT has just started.
