On road to more safer and affordable transplants

How do we offer transplants to more children?

How do we make transplantations safer?

How to we ensure that the best quality is delivered at the least cost?

How to we setup an environment which enables everybody involved to achieve personal and professional excellence?

We are busy finding answers to several questions. The journey of cure from thalassemia has just begun and what lies ahead is a real opportunity to put an end to unending suffering of our children.

While we look at the work that has been done in the last year is gratifying, the hundreds of those who await cure send a clear message - keep going and keep going stronger!

The need of the day is path breaking innovation in the way solutions are created and deployed. Pursuit of excellence is an absolute must. We owe it to our children.

There are a million problems to which solution are not known. Disease conditions for which only prayers are an answers. Circumstances that take human beings to unbearable misery. The problem of thalassemia, has a solution - an answer to the prayer. It is now up to us to take the solution forward and make sure each child who is in need is given the best possible chance. It’s time for the suffering associated with thalassemia to get out of the way for our children and our brethren

.

A single child cured from thalassemia is an end to bitterness and misery of a lifetime for just for the child but for the whole family. It is the saving of hundreds (or even thousands) of blood transfusions. It is the clearing of all the hurdles which come in the way of this little one aspiring and reaching out for the sky. Each transplant is a transformation. And the 21st century free India - an India which lays it’s claims to the highest echelons of the world order, an India which aspires to be the world leader, an India which gives you and me the opportunity to dream and pursue those dreams - needs these lofty ideas to be backed by social justice and empowerment at all levels.

Transformation by transplantation is a route we at Sankalp have chosen. We invite you, to make the best of what you have been endowed with to join in and be the change makers!
