Dr. Mohana Reddy represented Sankalp India Foundation at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting, one of the world’s most influential platforms in hematology, by presenting a scientific poster. 

The presentation highlighted Sankalp’s sustained work in research, innovation, and evidence-based care, particularly in hematology and stem cell transplantation, demonstrating how on-ground clinical practice informs and strengthens scientific inquiry. 

Grant Thornton has been a long-term supporter of Sankalp India Foundation, consistently contributing through regular blood drives and CSR initiatives. Their unwavering commitment has helped sustain treatment and care for children living with thalassemia and other blood disorders. 

On 5th December, Grant Thornton organised a blood donation drive in partnership with Sankalp, which was met with enthusiastic participation. A total of 171 units of blood were collected, providing essential support for patients who rely on regular transfusions to survive

2025 was a landmark year for Sankalp India Foundation, a year when compassion became a measurable impact and every new milestone brought India closer to freedom from thalassemia and sickle cell disease. Across its core programs of Prevention, Management, and Cure, Sankalp continued to blend science, service, and empathy to reach more children and families than ever before.

In October, Microsoft employees across India came together to celebrate the #JoyOfGiving as part of Microsoft Give 2025, partnering with Sankalp India Foundation to organise blood donation drives across their campuses.

A day of learning, laughter and connection marked the visit of the wonderful team from Thermo Fisher Scientific to Sankalp India Foundation. The day began with cheerful introductions, followed by an engaging session on blood donation and thalassemia that highlighted the impact of collective effort in saving lives.

On 7th October, Shaival and Dharmik collected 67 family samples for HLA typing at Jodhpur, followed by 20 family samples at the Faridabad daycare on 8th October. Alongside the collections, impactful counselling sessions were held to address doubts and build trust in Bone Marrow Transplant as a cure.
