In few schools the very motive of Blood Donation and its awareness makes the principal to come forward and be a part of the initiative. The principal was very responsive and gave the permission to conduct the program with full support and encouragement.

With a small number of students to interact, the volunteers had easy access to the students and could easily communicate the message of Blood Donation. The program went ahead with capturing the imagination of students which lead to students putting forward many questions.
Competitions: 14th February, 2009 There was much enthusiasm among the students to compete.
Essay Writing: Number of participants : 8. The participants had gathered in a class room. The students were very clear about their task, to present their thoughts in the best possible manner.
Painting: Number of participants: 8
Being held simultaneously along with essay competition, the students maintained silence and did not disturb the essay participants. They went about their job as easily as possible.
