Is spending money of expensive space missions like Chandrayaan is justified?

>> Chandrayaan will take us step ahead to making use of the resources on moon for power security for the future. >> It will build the credibility of ISRO further and will ensure greater business for ISRO. >> Let's not forget, ISRO earns while it learns. Chandrayaan's Rs 400 Crore is 100% justified.

Althogh it is good to have our own spaceship in the sky, however one should not overlook the fact that their are many other sectors in India, who needs attention as well as money.we are part of developing country and in such countries, government should aim at 100% food security as well as security from other nations. we had already attained the second aim but the first aim is still craving for attention

I would say its on a wise cause.

Its anyday beter than spending on a series of elections or such kind by the Government.

After all, who can predict the day coming tomorrow! Let's just hope that this would abolish the demand for whatsoever basic things of life!

yes i think future is about space and india is among the only few countries capable of deep space research. This will enhance indian image in international community. Also isro is earning enough by providing launch vehicles for foreign satellites. The technology we built is without any outside help. i think it is justified to spent on missions like chandrayaan instead of pouring public money on faulty govt policies.
