Known for it's spacious campus and beautiful ambience, International Technology Park Limited (ITPL), Bangalore is a house to a whole range of business houses and software develpoment units. The number of people moving in and out of the sprawling buildings every working day, will keep the best statistician busy for life.

But on Thursday, 5 July, 2007, there were some intruders there. Yes it was SANKALP INDIA FOUNDATION. SANKALP along with Victoria,Rotary,Rashtrothan and Lions blood banks responded to ITPL when the employees shouted that they wanted to make a difference. <b>393</b> units of blood were collected on that day. People from various companies came forward to donate blood. It was a new beginnning at ITPL. The ITPL Management was co-operative in providing all support. The 6 hour event, not only focussed on collecting blood, it opened the eyes of thousands of ITPL professionals that the society is need of their help. Banners, posters, brochures, mails and voices: All of them played their roles to the fullest in creating an awareness on Blood Donation Drive.

This must and will be carried forward to ascend greater heights. Hope next time the response is better. The energy and efforts of SANKALP will forever be existant.
