Partner Spotlight: Collins Aerospace Strengthening Lifesaving Efforts since 2022

Collins Aerospace has been a key partner with Sankalp India Foundation since 2022, consistently supporting our mission with commitment and scale. As one of our primary sponsors, their contribution to blood donation has been both steady and impactful, helping strengthen the supply for children and patients who rely on regular transfusions.

They organise blood donation camps twice a year across their Bangalore locations, but “routine” doesn’t quite capture the effort behind it. Before each camp, they conduct awareness sessions and arrange visits to the Sankalp Blood Centre for their employees. This helps volunteers understand the journey of blood donation and connect more deeply with the cause, turning participation into something far more meaningful.

Their numbers speak for themselves. With 21 camps conducted so far and a total of 3,457 units collected, their contribution has been significant. In the past year alone, they contributed 1,083 units across 6 camps. Even in April this year, they organised drives across three locations, collecting 585 units and continuing their strong momentum.

Beyond blood donation, Collins Aerospace has remained actively engaged with Sankalp’s broader work. On 4th April, 28 enthusiastic volunteers spent the day across our centres, going beyond a routine visit. From understanding the work at our Blood Centre and Daycare to spending time at the Childcare Home, the interactions were thoughtful and genuine.

We were also honoured to have the VP of Engineering, Savyasachi Srinivas, and his family visit our BMT facility, taking time to understand the journey of children undergoing transplants. The visit along with 28 volunteers was filled with small but meaningful moments, art kits thoughtfully shared with the children, laughter during games, and a dance session that needed no ice-breaking.

They have also extended support to our management and BMT programmes and have contributed to our childcare home in the past. What makes this partnership stand out is not just the scale of support, but the intent behind it. It wasn’t just a visit. It was time given, attention shared, and a reminder that true partnerships are built through presence.
