On 22nd April 2025, Sankalp India Foundation welcomed a group of 25 volunteers from Thermo Fisher Scientific, including members of their leadership team from the USA and Bengaluru, for a meaningful CSR visit. The team spent time at our transplant unit, gaining a deeper understanding of thalassemia, the challenges it presents, and the journey of children undergoing treatment.
Their visit to the blood centre further strengthened this perspective, as they explored the importance of voluntary blood donation, the science behind blood processing, and the critical role each unit plays in saving lives.
What stood out most was the empathy and enthusiasm the team brought with them. Through interactive sessions and games, they created a joyful and inclusive space for the children, turning the visit into a shared experience that went beyond awareness and left a lasting impact.
