Sankalp India Foundation was delighted to host a team from Securonix as part of their Founding Day celebrations. The visit brought together volunteers and children for a day filled with learning, interaction, and shared moments of joy.
The highlight of the day was the lively interaction between the volunteers and our young patients. Through games, playful activities, and easy conversations, the children quickly formed warm connections with the visiting team. Laughter echoed through the centre as the volunteers and children spent time together, creating memories that brightened the day for everyone present.
Alongside the activities, the Securonix team also participated in an awareness session to understand thalassemia more deeply. Discussions focused on how the condition is inherited, the importance of regular blood transfusions, the role of safe blood processing, and the critical need for voluntary blood donation in sustaining life-saving care.
Visits like these go beyond a single day of volunteering. By engaging directly with children and learning about the realities of thalassemia care, the Securonix team helped strengthen awareness and reaffirm the importance of empathy and community support in the journey towards healthier futures for our children.
