Empower the School

Submitted by rajat on

I have been receiving lots of requests in recent times from the various friends we have to do something for the poor.
As is clear we will not be making any long term commitment for real hard work now owing to the priority(Blood Donation) requiring lots of work.
But this does not in any way stop us from doing some small thing for the Children, specially poor and helpless.
So, I thought I will put up a discussion here and if something comes out, It will be executed..
Feel free to share..

FYI we went to a school on republic Day. We collected some money and asked the staff what they really though would be useful in our budget. As they advised, we got some sports equipment. It will be nice if we can continue this.. What do all of you say? Visit teh detailed report from last time here

Even i receive a lots of request to visit school more regularly and lots of people our coming up to contribute in that.. I think our work for school and poor should be impulsive ..we should not neglect it nor give most of our time and energy ... i think we should visit slum area or government school once in a three month i think that should be reasonable enough..

I believe whatever is possible from our side we should carry on doing it.We visited the school and gave sports equipment and books.Lets continue with this and help in whatever small way we could. Once in three months would be ideal. We should not only give books and other things ,the time which we spend with them is more important.we can go there and talk to them encourage them and if possible have some entertainment by showing some videos and other things.. What do you all reckon?
