What is the true meaning of patriotism. Is it only a slogan? Is it only a wartime frenzy? What does patriotism mean to me?

When we steal a thing from somewhere, we know its wrong. When we lie, we know its wrong. Similarly when we do good, we know its right. Whenever I come across this word patriotism, there is something deep within that asks for involvement. That gets energized. Its so enthralling a feeling that I can not quantify in words. But it has a common denominator. Every time I feel Patriotic, me senses demand action. They provoke me to change and to do something. this something has been constantly keeping up the person I am. Patriotism to me is that inexplicable feeling that can reform you to the deepest.

I AGREE WITH YOU. WHENEVER WE COME ACCROSS THE WORD "PATRIOTISM" OUR SENSES ASK FOR INVOLVEMENT. OUR WILL WISHES TO WORK FOR OUR COUNTRY. AND WORK IS SOMETHING WHICH SUPPORTS BETTERMENT OF MANKIND, PRESERVING BEAUTIFUL NATURE, CONSERVING RESOURCES. IN ANY OF THESE FORMS WE CAN LET JUSTICE HAPPEN FOR THE MEANING OF PATRIOTISM, JUSTICE FOR OUR SOUL AND JUSTICE FOR OUR WONDERFUL LIFE. "JAI HIND"
