Interactive Voice Response System

Interactive Voice Responce System is the second platform that has been integrated. It is a normal phone call based enquiry.

Like the calls we make to automated customer care for mobile serviuces, this is a menuy driven key-press selection based enquiry system.

On receiving a call the system plays welcome message and gives user the choices. Depending on the key pressed by used further action is taken.

The data source for the ivr and the methodology for access is the same as sms. Only difference is that the IVR system is actually a phone line, connected to a computer's Voice Modem. It plays message using a text-to-speech converting software. The text files are like the sms response files. If an operator/assistance is available then the system can transfer call to the person if it is unable to satisfy the caller.

On the interconnect to the main database and the local database side, things remain unchanged.
