Come September 13, and the volunteers of Sankalp like to look back in time. In this very month in 2006, the dreams of a few young people was somehow looking much more realistic, much more ahieveable. All the hard work that went into taking up an emergency blood request and resolving it looked meaningful and purposeful. In the September of 2006, Disha was born.
The Sankalp Emergency Team will land in KGF today to register donors into it's emergency database. The registration drive will be held @ Golden Valey Institute Of Technology, (GVIT)
"Life is a journey through mountains and valleys" is the sentence that made maximum sense to me this evening....
Going into an all studying mood in 2 nd pu...study study study so that u get a seat in the college u want to study...
Then write loads and loads of entrance exam.....
Then go on waiting endlessly for results, see day dreams each day and hope to get into the fav college, be in some great nonsense tensive mood for days...
A registration drive to register donors to the Sankalp Emergency Donor Database will be held at Sahyadri Arts and Commerce College, Shimoga. This will give Sankalp EW more confidence to handle emergencies in that district
2 blood donation drives will be held in Davangere at SBC Womens College and BSC Boys College on 5 octobe 2010
I am very happy when I think about the verdict that came from Lucknow in the Ayodhya case and what happened after that. I know I am stating the obvious things here. Just that I find my happiness hard to hold back so I decide to key it down:

NEW DELHI: Not being able to make it to a blood donation camp? Don't worry. A state-of-the-art blood collection bus could soon park at your doorstep.
The annual ritual of registering voluntary blood donors from the first year and welcome the ones who choose to work with us in the capacity of a volunteer is about to take place. The 2 day process of visiting individual classes and introducing Sankalp to students of MSRIT is followed by an orientation program. The people who complete the orientation program (which lasts for about 2 months), get an opportunity to participate in Sankalp ctivities right from the very initial days of their college life.
30 September, 2010: While the entire nation was waiting to hear the Ayodhya verdict and the atmosphere was that of tension and apprehension, the Sankalp volunteers received an SMS announcing CodeRed*. Within next few minutes the organisation was on it's toes.

What distinguishes the human race from the rest of earthly species is the size of its brain. This cerebral gift of evolution, sadly, is not always the most used of human assets. The land of rishis, unfortunately, is yet to become the land of reason.
