Ever got a feeling at the end of something that a whole show got screwed up because of you? Ever felt so responsible to have screwed up the hard work and time put in by so many people? Ever felt like the weakest link? If you have not I pray you do not ever get to feel that way.
Chitradurga Fort (derives its name from Chitrakaldurga), or as the British call it Chitaldoorg, straddles several hills and a peak overlooking a flat valley in the Chitradurga District, Karnataka, India. The fort's name Chitrakaldurga, which means 'picturesque fort' in Kannada, is the namesake of the town Chitradurga and its administrative district.
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note. In the room of 200,he asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note up.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
While I am with you I would like to share an important message my father Janab Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen gave me a lesson when I was a young boy. What was that lesson? It was just after India got independence. At that time panchayat board elections took place at Rameswaram. My father was elected panchayat board member and on the same day he was also elected the President of Rameswaram Panchayat Board. Rameswaram Island was a beautiful place with 30,000 populations.
Today Sankalp started on yet another journey. The destination is a better, safer, more caring and thoughtful Karnataka. The trip today is from Bangalore to Shimoga.
