It was the fourth time when we approached this school for permission. Finally we got the permission to conduct blood awareness program in front of 430 high school students.
St. Xaviers School
Its a school with 750 students in high school. For the first time RK School team will be addressing such a big crowd of students. Good Luck to the team

Its a school with projectors, so its a nice chance to start awareness in schools with lots of motivational videos and presentations.

Sankalp India Foundation places highest importance to the safety and well being of all our donors. In order to raise the bar on the quality standards and the procedures adopted to keep our donors safe Sankalp has initiated a “Blood Donation Reaction Study”. This study will comprise of recording of all donation reactions which occur in our drives.
An appeal to donate blood - The Hindu
Bangalore needs more than two lakh units of blood every year. However, only about 70 per cent of this requirement is fulfilled. There now is a fair amount of awareness about blood donation in society. Despite advancement in science and technology, there is still no means to “manufacture” blood.
Kargil Vijay Diwas
The Kargil War, also known as the Kargil conflict which was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999 in the Kargil district of Kashmir, came to an end on 26th July, 1999. The day has since been marked as Kargil Vijay Diwas (Kargil Victory Day) in India.
