Our Organization has been a WORKING organization right from day one. Ideas are good. Thoughts are great. Knowledge is important. Talent rules. BUT in the end it is work that counts. Acceptable or unacceptable - we have lived by this code. We have pushed ourselves and those who have come with us for more work.
Motivating donors to become regular voluntary blood donors is one way to achieve 100% voluntary blood donation. But in the process, emergency blood requests are bound to turn up and Sankalp volunteers are always on their toes to attend to emergency blood requests. The last hope for a patient is an emergency donation. This is done when the request is of absolutely critical level and the blood is not available in the rest of the city (particularly the rare groups, Apheresis units, and the seasonal shortage of even common groups).
One of the many amazing things about the pride of Bangalore - the Indian Institute of Science is that the students of this prestigious institutes have never thought twice before helping a person in need. The very special relationship that we share with the Student’s Council of IISc has in the past ensured that many critical blood requests were fulfilled on time.
Yipee! They are again doing things that I am proud of. The things that make my chest swell. The things that I will speak about in the time to come.

Chandrayaan I is an unmanned lunar exploration mission by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).The mission includes a lunar orbiter as well as an impactor. The spacecraft will be launched by a modified version of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle. The remote sensing satellite will weigh 1304 kg (590 kg initial orbit mass and 504 kg dry mass) and carry high resolution remote sensing equipment for visible, near infrared, soft and hard X-ray frequencies. Over a two-year period, it is intended to survey the lunar surface to produce a complete map of its chemical characteristics and 3-dimensional topography. The polar regions are of special interest, as they might contain water ice.The ISRO has identified Mylswamy Annadurai as Project Chief. The spacecraft is scheduled for launch on October 22 with a window fixed between October 19 and October 28.They estimate the cost to be INR 3.8 billion (US$ 83 million).

Our celebration comes at the cost of hundreds of thousands of child labours many of whom will die before celebrating their 18th birthday. Celebrations or Cause?
Let's discuss what we can do.
