Organizing a voluntary blood donation drive means not only making necessary infrastructure arrangements but also creating awareness and education among a large potential donor pool to motivate them to come forward and donate blood.
A Step Towards Safer Blood Donation Drives
It is said that if you stop learning, you stop creating history and become history. At Sankalp a practice of striving to improve continuously is imbibed in all volunteers. Hence training and knowledge sharing sessions form an important aspect of projects.

Rudyard Kipling had described Spiti valley as 'a world within a world' in his celebrated novel Kim. Over a century has passed, but not much has changed in this world, as it continues to remain relatively unknown, hidden between multiple folds of valleys and mountains, a world within another world. One of our regular blood donors called us on 29th May, 2015, asking if there is any blood unit of Bombay blood group available in Bangalore. A child in one of the reputed heart hospital was in need of 3 units of Bombay blood group to undergo a heart surgery.
