Over the past few months I came acorss two instances where in the people who are voluntary donors asked me one thing?

if we are donating blood voluntarily, why do blood banks asks replacements to patients?.I conveyed the genuine reason to the person that there is shortage of blood in city and not all Hospitals have the permission to organise cammps.so the only alternative for such hospitals is to ask for replacements....

Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen, filled three pots with water and placed the fire on high.

Gautam Buddha was born as a prince in 544 BC in Lumbini, on a Full Moon day in the month of Vaisakh. When he was born it was predicted that the child would redeem the world. Even as a young prince he was touched by the pain and sickness of others. Later he renounced the world and became an ascetic. At the age of 35, he attained enlightenment on the full moon day of Vaisakh. He traveled far and wide preaching the truth and gained a large following consisting of scholars, sanyasis, rulers of states and others, thus forming the Buddhist community.

Gautam Buddha was not a god and the philosophy of Buddhism does not entail any theistic world-view. The teachings of the Buddha are solely to liberate human beings from the misery and sufferings of life.

Going through a tougher period trying to resolve the things, I was reminded of this poem:
elementsKadam Milakar Chalna Hoga,
Badhaye Aati Hai Aaye,
Ghire Praly Ki Ghor Ghataye,
Paavo Ke Niche Aangare,
Sir Par Bares Yadi Javalaye,
Nij Hitho Se Hanste Hanste,
Aag Laga Kar Jalna Hoga,
Kadam Milakar Chalna Hoge,

Hasye Rudan Mein, Tufano Mein,
Amar Asankhaye Balidano Mein,
Udyano Mein, Virano Mein,
Aapmano Mein, Sammano Mein,
Unnat Mastak , Ubhra Sinaa,
Peedayo Mein Palna Hoga,
Kadam Milakar Chalna Hoga,

What to learn in College

College is about learning. It's not as simple as learning whatever it is that's being taught in your required gen-ed classes though.

It's about learning how to listen, how to speak, how to think. Learning who you are, who your friends are, and the type of people you want as friends.

Learning how to trust your innermost feelings, and how to find those feelings in the first place. It's about learning what's really important to you, and learning what you really don't give a damn about.
