A lot of Sankalp related posts have very recently seen the phrase - "Keep Walking..". It is not because of the amazing advertising by the Whiskey major- Jonny Walker. There must be some other reason why this phrase is being used by so many of us..

Pathetic Fire Safety and Rescue

Fire Safety in India is an all time low profile, almost unheard of thing.
Prevention is better than cure, but if there is no prevention, atleast good rescue and post fire accident intensive care must be looked upon.
This is in a pathetic condition in Bangalore.
The hospital will kill the accident victim before the fire burns do so. The government hospital, burns ward in Bangalore is hell......
Anything even the slightest exercise of good will in this regard will give hope to those who have burned it all........

True Essence of life

Strange is our situation here upon earth. Each of us comes for a short visit not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose. From the stand point of daily life, however, there is one thing that we do know, that we are here for the sake of others.... For the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day I realise how much my outer and inner life is built upon the labours of people, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as i have recieved.

Post retirement and death

In Jhansi they had a fueral, not in the ghat, but on the ground he played on. Players came, but it seemed a little too late. It made him hard to forget the first few words of his autobiography `Goal': "You are doubtless aware that I am a common man." He wasn't but he died like one.
