Deeper Aspects

Motivational Aspects People are largely motivated to donate blood is they can clearly see the impact of their blood donation. You should be able to bring out the effort versus impact picture for the donor. Saying "donate blood and save a life" may be logically correct but it has no appeal. There is nothing in this line which brings out the impact more clearly. Tell them facts that show how difficult a situation it could be for a person who is looking for blood. And then show them how their blood donation reduces all the pain.

Role of a Volunteer

Volunteers have three primary roles:
  • Motivating and Bringing in Donors
  • Ensuring prompt donor's care and Safety
  • Assist the donation process
  • A Volunteer is the heart of a blood transfusion service. They are the people who must understand the entire process well to be able to contribute actively. Here is a segment wise analysis of the requirements. Your involvement will make all the difference.

    Working Methodology

The working of this arrangement requires frequent small blood donation camps to be held throughout the year. This means that the blood bank must get a very regular supply of Voluntarily donated blood. The following points will describe all working details
