Sanchi is a small village in Raisen District of the State of Madhya Pradesh, India, it is located 46 km north east of Bhopal, and 10 km from Besnagar and Vidisha in the central part of the state of Madhya Pradesh.It is the location of several Buddhist monuments dating from the third century BCE to the twelfth century CE. The most important of all the Sanchi monuments is the Sanchi Stupa.
Lucent technologies, who had organised a blood donation drive last summer are up to it once again. A blood donation drive has been scheduled for the 18th of March, 2009. Since all Lucent employees are now located in a single building, a strong response can be expected.
ARM, ZTE and EFI are a group of companies located in the same office premises. They had organised a camp in association with Sankalp last year and are now ready for another one. Given the fact that one of the core members of the Sankalp team works in one of these companies, it should be a smooth sailing event.
A group of individuals of a public community group have decided to organsie a blood donation drive at their premises. This drive is scheduled for the 8th of February. The interesting aspect here is that the main organiser knows Sankalp because she had received help from Sankalp when someone in her family was looking for blood.
